My older brother Adam, who lives in Vermont, has installed some really cool solar panels on the roof of his house to save money on electricity and to do his part with going green. I was talking to him over the phone the other day, and he was telling me about the many merits and values that having solar panels has offered to him. For example, not only does he save a ton of money on electric bills every year, but he also is able to save more money because at the end of the year the US government sends him some energy tax rebates for using the solar panels. I find this to be really cool and innovative, and one day, I plan on doing the same thing as he is. And if you ask me, cutting down my electric bill, saving tons of money, getting free money with energy tax rebates and doing my party to help preserve the environment is an egg basket full of winners—something that I want to be a part as much as possible!
