My oldest brother Adam has had a really cool innovation and has installed solar panels on his home, which was about a year and half ago, and he has been telling me how much money he has saved getting free electricity ever since that time. I asked him about how much money that he had to spend on installing the solar panels versus how much money he was currently making on the free electricity that he was getting for them, and he told me that he had already paid them off during the first six months. My brother Adam lives in Vermont and it can get pretty frigid during the wintertime in that part of the US. So having free electricity has really saved him a fortune. During the summer his solar panels really get charged up, and then during the winter he is able to harness that free electricity and use it for heating. He is currently even considering adding and installing some more solar panels to his home because he has gotten so much free electricity over the past year and a half alone!
