I was reading an article recently that featured a couple who went door to door in their neighborhood and explained to their neighbors that they could get a great price on solar panels for their homes, if they purchased them now. The couple was going to install solar panels for their home and was trying to get a “bulk” price, if more neighbors ordered too at the same time. The couple was smart and about five neighbors in their huge area agreed to purchase solar panels too. They all saved on the price and installation and helped the environment at the same time. What a smart move on their part. You will see more and more new homes going green with energy efficient appliances, green materials used to make up the flooring, cabinets, counter tops and even environment friendly paint. There is even a surge in remodeling homes that many people are turning towards more green materials to update their homes. This all spells great news for our future and that going green awareness is now a focus for a big majority of us.
