Everyone seems to be going green to help our planet and save money on bills.  Solar PV is actually solar photovoltaic modules or panels that are a packaged interconnected set of photovoltaic cells, known as solar cells.  A solar panel is technically called a photovoltaic module and is used as a part of a larger system to offer electricity.  A single module only produces a limited amount of power, so many contain several modules that are known as a photovoltaic array.  They are all interconnected with an inverter, batteries and wiring.  These sytems of solar PV's are used on houses, in commercial properties and even on the solar panels of spacecraft.  Solar PV's can save a lot of money on electric bills, so many people are opting to use them on their homes and businesses.  Not only do they save money, but it helps our environment, so it is a win-win situation.  I have done some research on solar energy and am thinking about switching over to some solar power in my home now.  It would be nice to have a lower electric bill every month, especially in the summer when it is so hot here in Florida.
